The Grey took me by surprise. There is so much more to this movie than meets the eye. I was expecting a fairly straightforward horror/survival movie, which is what The Grey is on the surface. To my surprise and delight, this film goes far deeper than that.

Chronicle is a story about three high school friends, Andrew (Dane DeHaan), Matt (Alex Russell) and Steve (Michael B. Jordan) who gain superpowers after stumbling upon an amazing discovery. Red Tails opens with Nazi fighter planes attacking an American bomber group; thanks to excellent special effects, the danger and confusion of the fighting hit the viewer hard. Meanwhile, four African-American pilots are flying secondhand planes over peaceful-looking Italian countryside, picking off German supply trucks and trains. "War is hell," says one of them, "but what we're doing is just boring as hell."
This movie is all about fighting, and not only against the Germans. The Tuskegee Airmen (named for the college where they were trained as a controversial experiment) also have to fight frustration, racism, and their own weaknesses.

One for the Money

One for the Money centers around the unemployed Stephanie Plum (Katherine Heigl) who becomes so desperate for money she convinces her cousin, Vinny (Patrick Fischler) to give her a job at his bail bond company.
