by Sam P. December 27th, 2011 | Animated, Comedy, Family
Now I don't review movies often, but when I do, I say what I mean and I mean what I say.  I did not think the movie was that great.  There you have it.  I thought the movie would be great for little kids, and my prediction rang true.  I thought the movie was overstuffed with jokes that make children break their backs with laughter and just make adults groan with laughter.

I, personally, found the movie quite boring.  It had all been done before.  Yes, there was an age where I, too, was all about the Chipmunks, but I

That's not to say that The Muppets contains any inappropriate material or is otherwise unsuitable for children. It doesn't. It's just that the main focus of the movie, the quality that lies at the very core of this film, is nostalgia.

If you've never seen The Muppet Show, you cannot appreciate The Muppets for what it really is - a nostalgic trip down memory lane for those of us who grew up watching and loving Kermit, Fozzie, Miss

Hugo

by Shannon and Michael November 29th, 2011 | Family, Historical
Set in 1930s Paris, Hugo is the story of an orphaned boy named Hugo (Asa Butterfield) who lives in the walls of a train station, repairing the city clocks. With a broken automaton (i.e. robot) as his only link to his past, Hugo sets out to solve the mystery of the automaton and communicate with his father.

He Said:
Hugo isn't the mind-blowing special effects film that the previews might convince people to expect, but the world that has been created for the film is magical and interesting. Hugo is a film that's all about amazing story-telling and acting
