Unfortunately, even in 3-D, Leonardo Di Caprio's performance in Titanic was still one-dimensional. The 1997 film was the most expensive movie made up until that time. It also became the most successful. Titanic has just been re-released to theaters in 3D form in time for the 100th anniversary of the actual sinking of the luxury liner, which passed this week.
For those who have not seen it anytime since its 1997 release, the story revolves around the true story of the HMS Titanic, which sank on April 15th, 1912. The film stars Leonardo Di Caprio and Kate Winslet as a
Dark Tide

This film is quite good. I've seen other reviews whose writers would disagree, but the real review is right here. Kate Mathieson (Halle Berry) is a professional diver who specializes in diving with sharks. It's been her lifelong passion to swim the dark blue waters off the coast of South Africa. She becomes unique among all divers worldwide because of her willingness and bravery in choosing to swim with the sharks sans cage -- every time.
She experiences a loss that affects her career and personal life. One of the crew on her boat is her husband Jeff (Olivier Martinez). They suffer

Wrath of the Titans

Full disclosure -- I was a huge fan of the Harry Hamlin version of Clash of the Titans when I was a kid. I saw the recent remake and it made very little impression on me; two years later I really don't remember too much about it.
I really have mixed emotions about Wrath of the Titans. There were some really good points and some ... not. The film's scope is epic: gods, vast armies, giant lava monsters (OK, just one giant lava monster), and a constantly changing impenetrable underworld prison. Visually, the film is just spectacular - light years

Mirror Mirror

Mirror Mirror is a live action twist on the old story of Snow White. While some of these live action twists have failed in the past, Mirror Mirror actually succeeds as being a fresh take on a traditional Disney story. It has just enough of the past to make it familiar but more than enough changes to make it fresh.
The story starts with the self-serving queen declaring that this story is about her instead of Snow White. This opening scene is very interesting, if a bit dizzying in nature with its spinning orbs. It passes quickly into the live

The Sitter (2011)
by Josef Hodgkins April 6th, 2012 | Comedy, Movie Reviews
The Sitter starring Jonah Hill as Noah Griffith is simply cute. In other words, after watching a trailer and reading this review, you most likely know what you're getting into. It's funny at some parts, there's some good situational comedy, but overall, it's not a great movie.
Noah Griffith is a college student who has recently been expelled from his school. He's sitting around the house a bit, and one night finds himself babysitting three children at the request of his mother. The movie is a second attempt at Adventures in Babysitting (1987). This idea for the story is nice,
